e-session - Traci and Patric

When you get caught up in the daily grind of life it is pretty easy to forget how fortunate we are living in this part of the world. I met up with Traci and Patric last week out in Bragg Creek for a portrait session and it was beyond scenic. At one point we had huge drops of rain falling while being bathed by sunlight at the same time. Too much!

I had a tough time turning this into a BW and dumping all the color.

Wedding - Jill and Cory

The good times kept rolling on Saturday in Golden where Jill and Cory got married at the top of the Kicking Horse Ski Hill. After the ceremony we headed down to Golden to for their portrait session. Cory and Jill found a few really good locations for me and we stumbled upon a few more. We had a great time and the wedding party busted out tail gate snacks on numerous occasions. Thanks for the pepperoni! Always feed your photographer:)

Shoe through a shoe.

Wedding - Anna and Aaron

The weekend of September 15th was probably the best weekend for weather of the year. I was lucky enough to be in the mountains to photograph and few weddings and we even sneaked in a hike in with the kids.

On the Friday I photographed Anna and Aaron's wedding in Banff, NP. More words below.

Mom's after the ceremony with their bubbles.

These two are avid hikers so their portrait session had to include some pretty big landscapes.

The reception was at Storm Mountain Lodge so we did a few portraits in front of their cabin before catching up with the rest of the party in the main lodge.

e-session - Jennifer and Michael

Sometimes things just click (ya, no pun intended [isn't it annoying when people say that? sorry]). Jennifer and Michael have great chemistry, I really just let them kind of be them. The light went from good to wow and I used 100% new (to me) locations. Fun. I love September light!

e-session Lindsay and Josh

It is funny how the people who say they aren't good at having their photo taken always end up being the most photogenic. These two had me pretty worried with all their fearful talk, but after we started shooting I knew that good things were about to happen. I had problems saying good night and ending the shoot, I would have loved to spend another hour with them. Looking forward to the wedding coming soon!
